Holiday Pies & Treats | Ages 9-15
Learn the art of making a homemade buttery pie crust for a scrumptious pumpkin pie, complete with sugared cranberries and pretty leaf motifs. Kids will make a velvety pumpkin pie filling and a pâte brisée pastry dough for their leaf decorations (the pie dough for the bottom crust will be made ahead so it’s ready to roll out). While pies are baking, kids will decorate mini gingerbread men. Each child will bring home a 7 inch pie (about 4-6 slices) and gingerbread cookies- perfect for your Thanksgiving table.

FOOD ALLERGIES: Please contact us prior to registering if you have a food allergy. This class will be using tree nuts, however this ingredients can be omitted if you let us know ahead of time.
CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY: Classes are non-refundable, however, we understand that plans change. If your child is unable to attend a class, we will provide you with a credit to be used for another session (kitchen credits expire within 6 months). You must notify us at least 10 days before the class start date. Rescheduling requests must be emailed to us at info@mixitupkitchen.com or by calling us at 617-794-5191. Any requests made within the 10 day window can only be honored if we can fill your child’s spot. Due to our limited class size we appreciate your understanding. You are always welcome to send another child in their place as long as they meet the age requirements.
