If you love books as much as you love to cook, then join us for a storied week of fun! We’ll cook up recipes inspired by popular books (and movies) including Glinda’s Pink Potion with a pink and green dessert, Harry Potter, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, James and the Giant Peach- and more! Join us for a hands-on literary and culinary experience! A recipe booklet will be emailed at the end of the week. Class size limited.

FOOD ALLERGIES: Please contact us PRIOR TO REGISTERING if your child has ANY food allergies or dietary restrictions. We do not use peanuts or tree nuts unless specifically noted in the class description (some camps will contain nuts- so please read the description carefully). Some ingredients may be processed in a facility or on shared equipment with tree nuts, peanuts or other allergens. Please contact us before you register and we are happy to review ingredients with you to determine whether this camp is a good fit.
All camps are age appropriate, however in order to provide a safe environment with the use of kitchen tools and equipment, children should have good listening skills with the ability to follow instructions and stay focused for extended periods of time. Weather permitting, we will be taking outside breaks.
Please no flip flops or backless sandals since they can be a tripping hazard. Recipes will be emailed at the end of the camp week.
Kindly no arrivals earlier than 5 minutes before camp time so we can give you our full attention. We ask that children are picked up promptly when the camp ends.
CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY AND LIABILITY WAIVER: Please read the liability waiver before registering for any class or camp. By registering for a camp, you agree to the terms of our liability waiver and cancellation policy.
Camp registrations are strictly non-refundable. If your child is unable to attend their camp session for any reason, you can request a kitchen credit for another 2025 summer camp. You must notify us at least 14 days prior to your child’s camp session to receive a credit for another summer camp based on availability. Rescheduling requests must be emailed to us at info@mixitupkitchen.com. If you do not receive an acknowledgement, please assume that we didn’t receive your request and call us at the number above. We are unable to offer partial cancellations or makeup classes for individual sick days that are missed. All kitchen credits expire on 8/21/25 and are subject to availability. If you cannot attend your camp session, you are always welcome to send a sibling or friend in your child’s place. We appreciate your understanding!
