Thanksgiving Sides | Vegan & GF | Adult Workshop

‘Tis the season to be thankful for all of the wonderful food available to us.  But it doesn’t have to mean overindulging in rich, cream-laden dishes.  Join us for our clean eating, vegetarian Thanksgiving sides workshop to jazz up your holiday feast.  We’ll focus on a whole-food, plant-based menu for the fall season.  This class will leave you excited to try these recipes for your holiday affair.  Vegan & GF.

Pumpkin hummus and white bean-artichoke-collard green dip, creamy kale salad with chickpeas-shallots-mushrooms, delicata squash bake with pomegranate-hazelnuts, GF harvest stuffing with parsnips-carrots-apples

 

About the  instructor: Chef Jessica has worked a variety of food related jobs ranging from farmer to restaurant manager to chef, and most recently received her Masters in Gastronomy with a Culinary Arts certification from Boston University. This wide array of experiences has helped shape her unique approach to cooking which focuses on the connection between mind and body through conscious consumption.

What to expect:

When you arrive, please make yourself comfortable while we wait for other guests to arrive. Grab an apron, your name tag and pour yourself a glass of wine (if you brought a beverage).  Our workshop will start shortly after 7 PM and please expect to be on your feet for the first hour.  Our workshops are hands-on (unless otherwise noted) or guests are welcome to watch.  Our goal is to get everyone seated before 8:30 PM to enjoy a generous plate of everything created.  Workshops last between 2-2 1/2 hours. You’ll meet new people and leave inspired to create new dishes at home!

 

Things to know:

Our doors will open at 6:50 PM (kindly no arrival before that time).  Please inform us of any food allergies prior to registering.  Menu items may change slightly due to freshness and availability.  We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment and a full refund will be provided.  If you need to cancel, we can provide a credit towards a future class if you notify us at least 10 days prior to the class (unfortunately no refunds).  Within 10 days of the event, we are unable to provide a credit towards another class, however you’re welcome to send someone in your place. Credit towards a future class is valid for 6 months from date of issue.
