“If it came from a plant, eat it; if it was made in a plant, don’t. ” According to Michael Pollan, we should “eat food, not too much, mostly plants.” This philosophy is the basis for our plant-based cooking series. We will focus on a whole-food, plant-based menu, utilizing interchangeable recipes that showcase a variety of ingredients depending on the season. In addition to basic skills, we will cover sourcing and how to choose the freshest ingredients. We will also discuss preservation techniques such as fermentation and dehydrating. Recipes will be available to take home. Class size limited. BYO welcome.
This workshop is both vegan and gluten free.
