French Bistro | Adult Workshop
Join us for a hands-on evening of French-inspired cooking! You’ll create and plate a delicious meal alongside fellow cooking enthusiasts. After the cooking wraps up, you’ll enjoy your creations for a seated dinner. No experience needed- just an appetite for fun and learning. Recipes will be emailed after class so you can recreate everything at home.
Hands-on with some instructor demonstration. When possible, participants will plate their own meal. Class is approximately 2 hours (approx. 45 minutes of cooking time). Guests 21+ welcome to bring beer or wine. We have barware and an opener.

Pan-seared chicken (Chicken Paillard) in a lemon, white wine pan sauce
Roasted baby potatoes, and haricots verts tossed in shallots and olive oil
Sea-Salted Chocolate Pots de Crème (prepared ahead)

Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions
Please notify us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions before registering to see if the class is a good fit. Please do not register before asking since we cannot issue refunds. You can reach us at info@mixitupkitchen.com.
Arrival Policy
Guests may arrive up to 10 minutes before class time. Please arrive promptly as we well start right on time. We may not be able to accommodate guests who arrive more than 20 minutes late, as the class will already be in progress.
Class format/attire
Our classes are recreational and fun! Upon arrival, we ask that you wash your hands, grab an apron provided for wear during the class and help yourself to a beverage if you brought one. We suggest wearing comfortable shoes since you’ll be cooking for about the first hour. We appreciate long hair tied back. Our classes typically end around 8:00 PM but may run slightly over.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, we’re happy to offer a class credit (valid for 6 months) if you notify us at least 10 days before your scheduled class. Due to the intimate size of our classes, we are unable to offer credits for cancellations made within 10 days of the class for any reason. However, you are always welcome to send someone in your place—just let us know in advance.
Class Cancellations by Mix It Up Kitchen
We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment or instructor illness/emergency. In the rare event this occurs, we will offer you a full refund or a credit toward a future class, depending on your original payment method. If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, you’ll be notified at least 24 hours in advance.
BYO Policy
Our kitchen is BYO for 21+. Feel free to bring beer or wine to enjoy during the class. We ask that all attendees drink responsibly.
