Teens in The Kitchen: Italian Classics
Our teen cooking classes offer a welcoming, hands-on space where teen (and tween) cooks learn practical kitchen skills, explore new flavors, and build confidence through creating versatile, delicious dishes. With guided instruction, students leave feeling accomplished and inspired to keep cooking at home. Dishes will be packaged up to bring home with recipes emailed. Teens will work independently and in small groups, therefore please indicate if registering with a friend. Class size limited, however we require a minimum of 6 people to run a class. So please share with friends. Ages 11+.

Things to Know Before Your Class
Food Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

Arrival Policy
Our kitchen will open 5 minutes before class begins. We kindly ask that all participants arrive on time, as instruction will start promptly.
Please note: If you arrive more than 20 minutes late, we may not be able to accommodate you fully, as the class will already be in progress.
Class format/attire
Upon arrival, we ask that students wash their hands, grab an apron provided for wear during the class. Long hair should be tied back.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel, we’re happy to offer a class credit (valid for 6 months) if you notify us at least 10 days before your scheduled class. Due to the small size of our classes, we are unable to offer credits for cancellations made within 10 days of the class for any reason. However, you are always welcome to send someone in your place—just let us know in advance.
Class Cancellations by Mix It Up Kitchen
We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment or instructor illness/emergency. In the rare event this occurs, we will offer you a full refund or a credit toward a future class, depending on your original payment method. If a class is canceled due to low enrollment, you’ll be notified at least 24 hours in advance.
