Learn the art of baking basics from cookies to crostatas. We’ll cover a variety of baking skills including measuring (liquid versus dry), kitchen scale with simple weight measurements and a variety of baking tools and basic techniques. We’ll mix, fold and whisk our way through some of our favorite recipes. This camp is a great introduction to baking. A recipe booklet will be emailed at the end of the week. Class size<\/span> limited. Please note: younger children should be comfortable in a drop off program and able to focus for an extended period of time.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Children enrolled in our weekly camps will receive a reusable sports water bottle labeled with their name to use at the kitchen and bring home at the end of the week.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

FOOD ALLERGIES:<\/strong> Please contact us prior to registering<\/strong> if you have a food allergy. We do not use peanuts or tree nuts unless specifically noted in the class description, however we cannot guarantee that ingredients are processed in a nut-free facility. Please let us know before you register and we are happy to review ingredient labels ahead of time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Children will work both independently and in small groups. If your child is signed up with a friend, please indicate that during registration. Kindly no arrivals earlier than 5 minutes before class time so we can give you our full attention. Only registered children are permitted inside the kitchen as a Covid safety precaution.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

CAMP CANCELLATION POLICY:<\/strong> Camps are non-refundable, however, we understand that plans change. If your child is unable to attend their scheduled session for any reason, we will provide you with a credit to be used for another session to be used by August 23rd, 2021 and subject to availability. You must notify us at least 14 days before the class start date. Rescheduling requests must be emailed to us at info@mixitupkitchen.com. If you do not receive a reply, please assume that we didn’t receive your request and call us at the number above. Any requests made within the 14 day window can only be honored if we can fill your child’s spot. You are always welcome to transfer the space to another child who meets the age requirement. Due to our limited class size we appreciate your understanding.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
