DESCRIPTION:Join us for a morning of fun and creativity! Kids will make a healthy treat\, and create all-natural mini spa products\, including a fruit-flavored lip gloss where they choose the color and scent. The afternoon includes a mini yoga session for beginners (no need to bring a mat) and a Mix It Up water bottle to hydrate. The camp is a perfect mix of baking\, creativity\, and science. Class size limited. \n  \nDate: Friday\, June 19th \nTime: 9:30-11:30 AM \nCost: $75 \n  \n  \nThings to know: \nAll Summer Camps are drop-off.   \nIf you have trouble registering or resetting a password\, please contact us at info@mixitupkitchen.com or at 617-794-5191. If you are unsure if your registration went through\, please do not register twice. We cannot refund service fees for duplicate registrations. Contact us and we are happy to check if you’re registration went through.  \nFOOD ALLERGIES: Please contact us PRIOR TO REGISTERING if your child has ANY food allergies or dietary restrictions. We do not use peanuts or tree nuts unless specifically noted in the class description (some camps may contain nuts- so please read the description carefully). It will indicate it in the description. Some ingredients may be processed in a facility or on shared equipment with tree nuts\, peanuts or other allergens. Please contact us before you register and we are happy to review ingredients with you to determine whether this camp is a good fit.  \nAll camps are age appropriate\, however in order to provide a safe environment with the use of kitchen tools and equipment\, children must have good listening skills with the ability to follow instructions and stay focused. Children must meet the age requirement for camps unless you receive prior approval. In some cases\, we can put siblings in the same camp\, even if they are in different age groups.   \nPlease no flip flops or backless sandals since they can be a tripping hazard. Please have your child wear sunscreen as we will be taking outside breaks- weather permitting. Recipes will be emailed at the end of the camp week.  \nKindly no arrivals earlier than 5 minutes before camp time so we can give you our full attention. We ask that children are picked up promptly when the camp ends.  \nCAMP CANCELLATION POLICY AND LIABILITY WAIVER: Please read the liability waiver before registering for any class or camp. By registering for a camp\, you agree to the terms of our liability waiver and cancellation policy.    \nCamp registrations are strictly non-refundable. If your child is unable to attend their camp session for any reason\, you can request a kitchen credit for another 2026 summer camp. You must notify us at least 10 days prior to your child’s camp session to receive a credit for another summer camp based on availability. Rescheduling requests must be emailed to us at info@mixitupkitchen.com. If you do not receive an acknowledgement within 48 hours\, please contact us at 617-794-5191.  We are unable to offer partial cancellations or makeup classes for individual days that are missed\, regardless of reason. Credit for another camp session is based on availability (we will do our best!) and is only valid for summer camps through 8/21/26. If you cannot attend your camp session\, you are always welcome to send a sibling or friend in your child’s place. SUMMARY:Shuck\, Sip & Sauce with Duxbury Oyster Co | Adult Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a summer evening of oysters and hands-on shucking in collaboration with Duxbury Oyster Company. Guests will meet local oyster farmer and owner of Duxbury Oyster Company while enjoying light refreshments and learning about Duxbury’s rich shellfishing history and local aquaculture. \nGuests will also prepare two seasonal mignonettes before learning how to safely shuck oysters like a pro. Each participant will shuck a dozen fresh Prince Caspian oysters to enjoy and take home any unshucked oysters at the end of the event. Guests are welcome to bring beer or wine to enjoy following the instructional portion of class. \nWhether you’re an oyster enthusiast or trying oysters for the first time\, this relaxed and interactive experience is a fun way to spend a summer evening — and makes a memorable Father’s Day gift. \nEvent Includes: \n\nHistory of Duxbury’s shellfishing and local aquaculture with owner of Duxbury Oyster Co\, Kevin Thomson.\nLight refreshments and summer beverage on arrival (Guests may bring beer and wine)\nOne dozen fresh Prince Caspian oysters to enjoy at the kitchen- with option to purchase additional oysters packaged to take home at a special event price\nOyster shucking knife and protective glove to take home. Tickets are available without the glove and knife but you must bring your own\nSeasonal mignonettes to prepare and recipes to bring home\n\n  \nPlease note that this class requires a minimum of 10 people to run\, so please spread the word.   \n  \nDate: Saturday\, June 20th \n\nTime: 5:00-7:00 PM \n\nCost:  \n$120 with knife and protective glove  \n$105 without knife/glove (must bring your own!)   \n  \nThis is a Duxbury Oyster Company sponsored event\, therefore we regret that gift certificates cannot be applied.  \n\n\n\n\n\nThings to know:\nThis event is for ages 21+.\n\nPlease inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions prior to registering.\nOur kitchen will open 5 minutes prior to class (kindly no arrival before then\, so we can welcome you with our full attention!).\nThis class is non-refundable but you may transfer the ticket to someone else.\nIf for any reason we need to cancel this class\, a full refund will be provided.\nOur kitchen is BYO for 21+- you are welcome to bring beer or wine to enjoy.
