DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the season with an evening of holiday baking and mixology! Bake and decorate festive holiday cookies\, and while they’re in the oven\, guest mixologist Nikki Johnson of Botanical Drinkables will teach you how to make a holiday inspired craft mocktail using her signature botanical mixers. Or bring your favorite spirit and make it a cocktail. BYO. \nParticipants must be 21+.   \nDate: Wednesday\, December 3rd \n\nTime: 6:30-8:30 PM (class time may go a little over) \nCost: $85 \n\n\n\n\n\nThings to Know Before Your Class\nFood Allergies & Dietary RestrictionsPlease notify us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions before registering to understand if the class is a good fit. You can reach us at info@mixitupkitchen.com. \nArrival PolicyOur kitchen will open 10 minutes before class begins. We kindly ask that all participants arrive on time\, as instruction will start promptly.Please note: If you arrive more than 20 minutes late\, we may not be able to accommodate you fully\, as the class will already be in progress. \nClass format/attire Our classes are recreational and fun!  We suggest wearing comfortable shoes since you’ll be cooking for about the first hour. Upon arrival\, we ask that you wash your hands\, grab one of our aprons to wear during class and help yourself to a beverage if you brought one. Our classes typically end around 8:00 PM but may run slightly over. \nCancellation PolicyIf you need to cancel\, we’re happy to offer a class credit (valid for 6 months) if you notify us at least 14 days before your scheduled class. Due to the intimate size of our classes\, we are unable to offer credits for cancellations made within 14 days of the class for any reason. However\, you are always welcome to send someone in your place—just let us know in advance. \nClass Cancellations by Mix It Up KitchenWe reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment or instructor illness/emergency. In the rare event this occurs\, we will offer you a full refund or a credit toward a future class\, depending on your original payment method. SUMMARY:Gingerbread House Cookie Decorating | Ages 5+
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the season at our Gingerbread House workshop! Each oversized gingerbread house cookie is freshly baked (by us) and ready for decorating with royal icing\, festive decorations and additional shapes. Your masterpiece will be sent home on a cake board\, wrapped in cellophane and ribbon along with a recipe to bring home. Parents with children under 7 years-old are asked to stay at the kitchen. \nPlease note: \nGingerbread house cookies are about 8-10 inches tall-one-dimensional and include extra festive shapes such as a heart\, tree\, and mini gingerbread child. \nIt’s a wonderful way to create sweet memories—or a perfect chance for parents to enjoy a little local holiday shopping while the kids have fun! \n  \nDate: Sunday\, December 7th \nTime: 1:00-2:00 PM \nCost: $45 \n  \nThings to Know: \nIf you have trouble registering or resetting a password\, please contact us at info@mixitupkitchen.com or at 617-794-5191.  \nFOOD ALLERGIES: Please contact us prior to registering if you have a food allergy. We do not use peanuts or tree nuts unless specifically noted in the class description\, however some ingredients may be processed in a facility with peanuts and tree nuts.
