DESCRIPTION:Tis the season to bake and enjoy wonderful holiday treats!   We’ll be mixing up some of our holiday favorites while covering many baking techniques for gift-worthy treats.  Join us for this fun and festive series!  Some of our holiday treats will include macarons\, holiday cookies\, breads and more.  Class size limited. \nPlease note: this class will be using tree nuts.  \n  \nDates: Wednesdays: December 1st\, 8th\, 15th & 22nd \n\nTime: 4:00-5:30 PM \nCost: $250 \n\nAges 9-15 (older children are welcome to register). \n  \nThings to know: \nIf you have trouble registering or resetting a password\, please contact us at info@mixitupkitchen.com or at 617-794-5191.  \nCOVID-19 UPDATE: We will be following CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of our students. All classes will require the use of face coverings for both students and staff\, social distancing and strict sanitation and cleanliness protocols. This class will be using tree nuts and not appropriate for people with nut allergies.  \nCLASS CANCELLATION POLICY: Classes are non-refundable\, however\, we understand that plans change. If your child is unable to attend a class\, we will provide you with a credit to be used for another session (kitchen credits expire within 6 months). You must notify us at least 10 days before the class start date. Rescheduling requests must be emailed to us at info@mixitupkitchen.com or by calling us at 617-794-5191.  Any requests made within the 10 day window can only be honored if we can fill your child’s spot. Due to our limited class size we appreciate your understanding. SUMMARY:Macarons & Bubbly | Adult Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join us for some holiday macaron making and bubbly in between. In this introductory macaron workshop\, you’ll learn how to make meringue batter with techniques such as ribboning\, piping\, resting and baking. We’ll work in groups to make the shells with some delicious holiday fillings. DESCRIPTION:Grab a bottle of vino and join us for a fun evening out! We’ll make hand-rolled gnocchi paired with an authentic Bolognese sauce and end the evening with a classic Tiramisu. You’ll work in small groups alongside our professional chef to cook a restaurant style meal. Choose the option to enjoy your creations at the kitchen or package things up to enjoy at home.  Class size limited. \n  \nMenu \nDeconstructed caprese salad with basil pesto (please inform us of any tree nut allergies ahead of time) \nSlow-cooked Bolognese sauce over ricotta gnocchi \nTiramisu (made ahead by our chef) \n  \nDate: Saturday\, December 4th \nTime: 6:00-8:30 PM \n\n\nCost: $95 per person \n\nIf this class is full please contact us at info@mixitupkitchen.com to be put on a waitlist. \n\n\n\nThings to know:\n\n\nPlease inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions prior to registering. SUMMARY:Gingerbread House Decorating
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the season with gingerbread house decorating!  We’ll provide muffin tins brimming with decorative candies\, freshly baked gingerbread shapes (trees\, hearts\, candy canes)\, royal icing and cheerful holiday tunes to get you in the spirit! Children ages 8+ are welcome to stay alone. Children ages 4-7 must be registered with an adult.  Space limited. \n  \nDate: Sunday\, December 5th \n\nTime: 2:00-3:15 \nCost: $65 per person\, Additional person: $7 \n\n  \n\n*Additional registration includes an extra bag of royal icing and candies. Due to space limitations\, only two additional people per house.
