SUMMARY:Halloween Cake Wars I Kids Nite Out | Ages 8-13
DESCRIPTION:Get into the Spirit of Halloween with our Cake Wars challenge!  This not to be missed special event includes pizza\, apple cider and a sweet treat.  We’ll work in groups to make an award-winning vanilla cake recipe\, then each baker will work independently to decorate their own creepiest\, spookiest or cutest Halloween-themed cake using a variety of edible decorations.  Cakes will be judged for different categories and boxed up to bring home. Don’t miss the fun! \n  \nDate: Friday\, October 25th \nTime: 5:00-7:00 PM \nCost: $65 \n  \nThings to know: \nOur children’s classes are nut-free (unless otherwise noted).  We cannot guarantee that ingredients are manufactured in a nut-free facility\, however we are happy to review labels with you. Please inform us of any food allergies prior to registering to determine whether it’s an appropriate class. SUMMARY:Autumn Italian | Adult Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Do you know your bucatini from your spaghetti\, your farfalle from your fusilli?  There are over 300 hundred pasta shapes!  Learn how to make fresh dough (and which pasta shapes best hold their ingredients) and how to cook your pasta to achieve that perfect al dente bite. You’ll learn how to make Fettuccini with lemon chili figs and parmesan\, weeknight bolognese with pappardelle\, and butternut squash ravioli with brown butter and sage.  Warm up with your partner and make it a date night.  BYO welcome! \n  \nDate: Saturday\, October 26th \nTime: 7:00-9:00 PM \nCost: $69   \n  \nWhat to expect: \nWhen you arrive\, please make yourself comfortable while we wait for other guests to arrive. Grab an apron\, your name tag and pour yourself a glass of wine (if you brought a beverage).  Our workshop will start shortly after 7 PM and please expect to be on your feet for the first hour.  Our workshops are hands-on (unless otherwise noted) or guests are welcome to watch.  Our goal is to get everyone seated before 8:30 PM to enjoy a generous plate of everything created.  Workshops last between 2-2 1/2 hours. You’l meet new people and leave inspired to create new dishes at home! \n  \n\nThings to know: \nOur kitchen will open for guests at 6:50 PM (kindly no arrival before that time).  Please inform us of any food allergies prior to registering.  Menu items may change slightly due to freshness and availability.  We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment and a full refund will be provided.  If you need to cancel\, we can provide a credit towards a future class if you notify us at least 10 days prior to the class (unfortunately no refunds).  Within 10 days of the event\, we are unable to provide a credit towards another class\, however you’re welcome to send someone in your place.
