DESCRIPTION:Inspired by the popular TV Show Nailed it\, join us for our Valentine’s Day edition of friendly competition and fun!  Each aspiring baker will be challenged to recreate a heart cake masterpiece made by our professional cake decorator.  We’ll start with some cake decorating tips to get started on the right track\, then each contestant will receive a heart-shaped cake (baked by us ahead of time to allow cakes to cool) to design their own look-alike.  Just like the show\, each contestant may press the buzzer for 3 minutes of assistance.  Treats will be served during judging and each child will take home their cake as a “prize.” But only one person will wear the golden chef hat!  Come join the fun! \n  \nPlease note: each child will decorate a 6 inch chocolate heart cake (4 generous servings). \n  \nAbout the instructor \nMelissa is an award winning cookie and cake decorator with many of her works published in magazines. DESCRIPTION:Calling all little leprechauns for our shamrock sprinkle donut workshop!  We’ll mix up batter for airy baked donuts\, stir together a vanilla glaze and dunk them in shamrock sprinkles.  Each adult and child will work as a team to learn some valuable baking skills and take home a half dozen donuts and sample some at the kitchen.  How lucky is that? \n  \nDate: Saturday\, March 14th \nTime: 9:00-10:15 AM \nCost: $50 per pair (one registration= one adult and child) \nThings to know:\nPlease inform us of any food allergies prior to registering.  We do not use peanuts or tree nuts in our children’s classes (unless otherwise noted)\, however we cannot guarantee that ingredients are manufactured in a nut-free facility.  Therefore\, we are happy to review labels with you.  We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment and a full refund will be provided.  If you need to cancel\, we can provide a credit for another class if you give us at least 7 days notice prior to class date.  After that time\, we cannot provide a credit\, however you’re welcome to transfer the registration to someone else.  Credit towards a future class is valid for 6 months from date of issue.

DESCRIPTION:Calling all bakers for our Spring Fever Cupcake Wars!  You provide the creativity and we’ll provide the goods to bake and decorate 6 Spring-themed cupcakes to compete with other kids from around the South Shore. Think fondant lady bugs\, pastel butterflies with pretzel wings\, blooming flowers made of buttercream and other edible decorations. Siblings are welcome to participate on one team (only one registration necessary). \nHow it works: Bake and decorate your cupcakes ANY TIME before noon on Thursday 4/23 and send us up to 3 photos via text or email. Cupcakes can be enjoyed right after photos are taken. Each team will be judged based on most creative use of decorations and neatest design. Winners will be announced on our Facebook and instagram pages on Friday at noon. Our welcome email will give you complete details. Class size limited for each session. \nPick-up your kit at our kitchen window at the start of April vacation (Monday 4/20 between 10:00 AM-12:00 PM).
