SUMMARY:Nailed It! | Halloween Edition | Ages 9-14
DESCRIPTION:Inspired by the popular TV Show Nailed it!\, join us for our Halloween edition of friendly competition and fun!  Each aspiring decorator will be challenged to recreate a Halloween cake masterpiece made by our professional cake decorator.  We’ll start with a cake decorating tutorial and tips to get started on the right track\, then each contestant will be given a 2-layer 6 inch vanilla cake to decorate their own look-alike. Cakes equal approximately 8 servings and are baked by us ahead of time to allow cakes to cool. Just like the show\, each contestant may press the buzzer for 3 minutes of assistance.  Everyone will take home a cake but only one person will wear the golden chef hat!  Come join the fun! \nOur instructor will teach kids how to level a cake\, crumb coat\, use an offset spatula and scraper and piping bag to create a professional looking cake. \n  \nAbout the instructor \nMelissa is an award winning cookie and cake decorator with many of her works published in magazines. DESCRIPTION:Have a ghoulish good time making and decorating Halloween cupcakes!  Each adult and child pair will work on their vanilla cupcake recipe to bake and decorate 6 cupcakes to bring home. While cupcakes are in the oven\, we’ll decorate our bakery boxes and play some Halloween bingo and other fun games. Each adult and child pair will have their own designated space to work. Come join the fun! \n\n  \n\nDate: Saturday\, October 31st \nTime: 9:30-11:00 AM \nCost: $50 per pair (includes both child AND adult). You may add an additional child working in the same group and recipe for an additional $10. Additional frosting and decorations will be provided.
