DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a delicious take away meal prepared by the Clandestine Kitchen and Zoom into Mix It Up Kitchen’s chef demonstration to raise money for our neighbors with food insecurity. 100% of the proceeds will go towards this cause. \n“Healthy Chicken Parm” Take Away Meal & Chef Demonstration of entrée  \nOrganic roasted chicken topped with Burrata cheese\, house-made nut-free/dairy-free pesto\, spice-roasted cherry tomatoes with a shredded organic kale salad with sunflower seeds\, toasted almonds\, dried cranberries and CK’s citrus vinaigrette. \n  \nDate: Thursday\, March 18th\nChef Demonstration: 7:00 PM via Zoom (link will be sent morning of the event)\nCost: $30 per person (1 meal) or $56 per couple (2 meals) with chef demonstration \n  \nThings to know \nMeals can be picked up on the day of the event between 4:00-5:30 PM at Mix It Up Kitchen. Chef Demonstration of Clandestine Kitchen’s “Healthy Chicken Parm” will be at 7 PM (for approx. 1 hour). Zoom link will be emailed the morning of the event. SUMMARY:Spring-kle Donuts | Parent & Child | Ages 5-12
DESCRIPTION:Come out of hibernation and join us for a celebration of spring and yummy sprinkle donuts!  We’ll mix up a batter for airy baked donuts\, stir together a strawberry glaze and dunk them in pastel spring-kles.  Each adult and child will work as a team to learn some valuable baking skills and take home a half dozen donuts. \n  \n\n\n\nDate: Saturday\, March 20th \nTime: 9:00-10:15 AM \nCost: $56 per pair (one registration= one adult AND child) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThings to know: \nIf you have trouble registering or resetting a password\, please contact us at info@mixitupkitchen.com or at 617-794-5191.  \nCOVID-19 UPDATE: We will be following CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of our students. All classes will require the use of face coverings for both students and staff\, social distancing and strict sanitation and cleanliness protocols. For more information\, please click on the Covid-19 Safety button on the top of the page. \nFOOD ALLERGIES: Please contact us prior to registering if you have a food allergy. We do not use peanuts or tree nuts unless specifically noted in the class description\, however we cannot guarantee that ingredients are processed in a nut-free facility. Please let us know before you register and we are happy to review ingredient labels ahead of time. \nCLASS CANCELLATION POLICY: Classes are non-refundable\, however\, we understand that plans change. If your child is unable to attend a class\, we will provide you with a credit to be used for another session (kitchen credits expire within 6 months). You must notify us at least 10 days before the class start date. Rescheduling requests must be emailed to us at info@mixitupkitchen.com or by calling us at 617-794-5191.  Any requests made within the 10 day window can only be honored if we can fill your child’s spot. Due to our limited class size we appreciate your understanding. SUMMARY:Indian Cuisine | Adult Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Indian cuisine has become a favorite takeaway\, but it can easily be created at home. In this workshop\, you’ll make authentic Indian dishes and learn about their seemingly elusive spices. Our classes focus on learning culinary techniques while making a variety of dishes to bring home and enjoy.   \nMenu \nChicken Tikka Masala \nBasmati Rice \nFresh Raita \nNaan (Indian flatbread) \nIndian Rice Pudding (made ahead by our chef) \n  \nDate: Saturday\, March 27th \n\nTime: 5:00-7:00 PM \n\nCost: $105 per person or $180 per couple (teens 16+ are welcome with an adult). \n\nIf this class is full please contact us at info@mixitupkitchen.com to be put on a waitlist. \n\nThings to know:\n\nMasks are required inside the kitchen at all times. Each person/couple will have a designated workspace. Guests are welcome to bring wine to “sip safely.”\n\nPlease inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions prior to registering. Our kitchen will open 5 minutes prior to class (kindly no arrival before that time).\n\n\nMenu items may change slightly due to freshness and availability.  We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment and a full refund will be provided.  In the unlikely event that this happens\, you’ll be notified at least 48 hours prior.  If you need to cancel\, we can provide a credit towards a future class (we apologize\, no refunds) if you notify us at least 10 days prior to the class (class credit is valid for 6 months). Due to the intimate size of our classes\, we are unable to provide a credit for cancellations within 10 days of the event for any reason.  However\, you are welcome to send someone in your place- just let us know in advance. \n\nWe look forward to seeing you!\n
