SUMMARY:Cooking with Superfoods | Adult Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Power up the New Year with Superfoods that will fuel your body with healthy nutrients.  In this small group technique class\, you’ll receive individualized attention by our chef as you prepare a Superfood inspired menu.  You’ll leave with a delicious dinner to bring home along with a repertoire of new skills.  The format of this workshop is mostly hands-on with limited chef demonstration. Class is limited to 6-8 participants.  \n  \nMenu \nBaby kale with roasted butternut squash\, pomegranate seeds\, roasted grapes with a pear vinaigrette. \nRoasted salmon with a fig and balsamic reduction\, cauliflower purée\, roasted Brussels sprouts with honey and local sea salt. \nLemon curd topped with a blueberry compote (prepared by our chef ahead of time to enjoy at home) \n  \nDate: Saturday\, January 16th \nTime: 5:00-7:00 PM \n\nCost: $105 pp or $180 per couple (couples will work together but bring home the same amount of food as an individual registration). \n\nIf this class is full or the ticket you’d like to purchase is sold out\, please contact us at info@mixitupkitchen.com to be put on a waitlist. \n\nThings to know:\n\nMasks are required inside the kitchen at all times. Each person/couple will have a designated workspace.\n\nPlease inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions prior to registering. Our kitchen will open 5 minutes prior to class (kindly no arrival before that time).\n\n\nMenu items may change slightly due to freshness and availability.  We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment and a full refund will be provided.  In the unlikely event that this happens\, you’ll be notified at least 48 hours prior.  If you need to cancel\, we can provide a credit towards a future class (we apologize\, no refunds) if you notify us at least 10 days prior to the class (class credit is valid for 6 months). Due to the intimate size of our classes\, we are unable to provide a credit for cancellations within 10 days of the event for any reason.  However\, you are welcome to send someone in your place- just let us know in advance. \n\nWe look forward to seeing you!

DESCRIPTION:Warm up your baking skills and join us for our Winter Warmers Bake Shop. You’ll learn essential baking skills as we make fluffy cinnamon rolls and coffee cake muffins.  Both recipes will introduce different baking skills and equally delicious. All classes will require the use of face coverings for both students and staff\, social distancing and strict sanitation and cleanliness protocols. For more information\, please click on the Covid-19 Safety button on the top of the page. \nFOOD ALLERGIES: Please contact us prior to registering if you have a food allergy. We do not use peanuts or tree nuts unless specifically noted in the class description\, however we cannot guarantee that ingredients are processed in a nut-free facility. Please let us know before you register and we are happy to review ingredient labels ahead of time. \nCLASS CANCELLATION POLICY: Classes are non-refundable\, however\, we understand that plans change. If your child is unable to attend a class\, we will provide you with a credit to be used for another session (kitchen credits expire within 6 months). You must notify us at least 10 days before the class start date. Rescheduling requests must be emailed to us at info@mixitupkitchen.com or by calling us at 617-794-5191.  Any requests made within the 10 day window can only be honored if we can fill your child’s spot. Due to our limited class size we appreciate your understanding. DESCRIPTION:Grab your partner\, bring a friend or come on your own for a fun night out to make some classic Italian dishes. In this technique class\, you’ll receive individualized attention by our chef as you prepare a delicious dinner to bring home. You’ll leave with recipes along with a repertoire of new skills!  Class size limited.  \nMenu \nHand rolled gnocchi tossed with a basil and San Marzano sauce and shaved parmesan \nChicken Saltimbocca with sautéed broccolini in lemon and garlic \nVanilla rum Panna Cotta with caramel sauce (prepared by our chef ahead of time to bring home) \n  \nDate: Saturday\, January 30th \nTime: 5:00-7:00 PM \n\nCost: $105 per person OR $180 per couple (couples who register will work on their recipes together. Dishes will be packaged up individually). \n\nIf this class is full please contact us at info@mixitupkitchen.com to be put on a waitlist. \n\nThings to know:\n\nMasks are required inside the kitchen at all times. Each couple will have their designated workspace.\n\nPlease inform us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions prior to registering. Our kitchen will open 5 minutes prior to class (kindly no arrival before that time).\n\n\n  \nMenu items may change slightly due to freshness and availability.  We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment and a full refund will be provided.  In the unlikely event that this happens\, you’ll be notified at least 48 hours prior.  If you need to cancel\, we can provide a credit towards a future class (we apologize\, no refunds) if you notify us at least 10 days prior to the class (class credit is valid for 6 months). Due to the intimate size of our classes\, we are unable to provide a credit for cancellations within 10 days of the event for any reason.  However\, you are welcome to send someone in your place- just let us know in advance. \n\nWe look forward to seeing you!
