DESCRIPTION:Children will work independently and in small teams to make savory dishes from scratch- and some sweet.  We will cover kitchen safety\, basic knife skills\, how to read and follow multi-step recipes\, use kitchen tools safely and be creative with flavoring our dishes!  Classes also develop team work\, time management\, setting up our work stations “mise en place” and tidying up.  At the end of class\, we will taste our creations and bring some home to share. \nSome of our Farm to Fork menu items include: corn chowder & corn bread\, fall vegetable chicken pot pie\, vegetable risotto\, apple crisp with vanilla ice cream- and more! \nTuesdays: September 13th\, 20th\, 27th\, October 4th\, October 11th \n4:30-5:45 pm \n$175 for a 5 week series \n  \nThings to know: \nOur children classes are nut-free.  Please inform us of any food allergies prior to registering.  Menu items may change due to availability and student dietary restrictions. Maximum class size is typically 10 children.
