DESCRIPTION:Our Halloween Cupcake Wars will get you into the Spirit of things!  Each aspiring baker will work independently to make half a dozen vanilla cupcakes. Once cupcakes are cooled\, they’ll be decorated and judged for the creepiest\, spookiest or cutest Halloween-themed cupcakes using a variety of edible decorations. Cupcakes will be judged for different categories but only one will be the overall winner! Cupcakes will be boxed up to bring home- a great Halloween treat. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the season with gingerbread house decorating!  We’ll provide muffin tins brimming with decorative candies\, freshly baked gingerbread shapes (trees\, hearts\, candy canes)\, royal icing and cheerful holiday tunes to get you in the spirit! Children ages 8+ are welcome to stay alone. Children ages 3-7 must be registered with an adult.  Space limited. \n  \nA limited # of houses are available for pick-up. Includes assembled gingerbread house\, freshly baked gingerbread shapes\, royal icing and decorations. Pick up hours are from 1:30-3:30 PM on the day of the class. \n  \nDate: Sunday\, December 20th \n\nTime: 2:00-3:15 PM \nCost: $56 per person\, Additional person: $9 \nPick-up Only: $50 \n  \nAdditional registration includes an extra bag of royal icing and candies. DESCRIPTION:Somewhere over the rainbow\, unicorns fly.  There’s no need to catch one\, learn how to create your own!  We’ll show you techniques to make holiday swirl buttercream\, a magical horn\, ears and mane- with a holiday twist.  In this workshop\, we’ll make chocolate cupcakes while learning essential baking skills.  Each child will decorate a unicorn and 3 holiday swirl cupcakes to bring home. DESCRIPTION:Rise and Shine and join us for our holiday-inspired Breakfast Bake Shop camp!  We’ll make gingerbread doughnuts and white chocolate chip cranberry  scones. Both recipes will introduce different baking skills but equally irresistible!  Class size limited. \n  \nDate: Wednesday\, December 30th \nTime: 9:30-11:30 AM \nCost: $60 \n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThings to know: \nIf you have trouble registering or resetting a password\, please contact us at info@mixitupkitchen.com or at 617-794-5191.  \nCOVID-19 UPDATE: We will be following CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of our students. All classes will require the use of face coverings for both students and staff\, social distancing and strict sanitation and cleanliness protocols. For more information\, please click on the Covid-19 Safety button on the top of the page. \nFOOD ALLERGIES: Please contact us prior to registering if you have a food allergy. We do not use peanuts or tree nuts unless specifically noted in the class description\, however we cannot guarantee that ingredients are processed in a nut-free facility. Please let us know before you register and we are happy to review ingredient labels ahead of time. \nCLASS CANCELLATION POLICY: Classes are non-refundable\, however\, we understand that plans change. If your child is unable to attend a class\, we will provide you with a credit to be used for another session (kitchen credits expire within 6 months). You must notify us at least 10 days before the class start date. Rescheduling requests must be emailed to us at info@mixitupkitchen.com or by calling us at 617-794-5191.  Any requests made within the 10 day window can only be honored if we can fill your child’s spot. Due to our limited class size we appreciate your understanding.
