DESCRIPTION:Kick-off the summer at our Endless Summer Cake Wars Zoom competition!  Registration includes all dry ingredients\, disposable cake pan\, cake board and decorations.  We’ll Zoom in at 3:00 PM for the rules and bake-off. Teams will return at 4:15 PM to decorate\, followed by judging. \nEach team (siblings welcome) will make\, bake and decorate a 6 inch summer themed cake. You’ll receive fondant\, frosting\, white chocolate seashells and an assortment of other embellishments to decorate with. SUMMARY:Crazy for Chocolate | Cupcake Workshop | Ages 9-15
DESCRIPTION:Crazy for chocolate?  So are we!  Join us to make decadent chocolate cupcakes with the ultimate chocolate (and vanilla) frosting. We’ll weigh out our ingredients and learn correct measuring for dry and wet ingredients\, use knife skills for chopping chocolate and learn the correct way to use piping bags to decorate.  Each child will work independently to make cupcakes and will work with the instructor to make 2 types of frosting: chocolate and vanilla buttercream. We’ll use bright autumn sprinkles to top our cupcakes. Please let us know before you register and we are happy to review ingredient labels ahead of time. \nCLASS CANCELLATION POLICY: Classes are non-refundable\, however\, we understand that plans change. If your child is unable to attend a class\, we will provide you with a credit to be used for another session (kitchen credits expire within 6 months). You must notify us at least 10 days before the class start date. Rescheduling requests must be emailed to us at info@mixitupkitchen.com or by calling us at 617-794-5191.  Any requests made within the 10 day window can only be honored if we can fill your child’s spot. Due to our limited class size we appreciate your understanding. DESCRIPTION:Nothing says Fall better than apple cider donuts.  Learn how to make these irresistible autumn treats and the secret to their amazing flavor. Students will work on their donut recipes independently and use kitchen scales to weigh out ingredients\, learn proper hand measuring\, pastry bags and other baking techniques. Each child will bring home approximately a dozen donuts and a recipe.
