DESCRIPTION:Summer never tasted so good at our Endless Summer Cake Wars!  Each aspiring baker will work independently to bake and decorate a beach-themed cake (think light blue buttercream with wavy piping tips\, flip flops made of fondant\, white chocolate seashells\, graham cracker sand and more). We’ll have different judging categories but only one will win the Beachiest!  After judging\, cakes will be boxed up to bring home.  Weather permitting\, tropical smoothies will be served outside during our break. DESCRIPTION:Inspired by the popular TV Show Nailed it!\, join us for our Halloween edition of friendly competition and fun!  Each aspiring decorator will be challenged to recreate a Halloween cake masterpiece made by our professional cake decorator.  We’ll start with a cake decorating tutorial and tips to get started on the right track\, then each contestant will be given a 2-layer 6 inch vanilla cake to decorate their own look-alike. Cakes equal approximately 8 servings and are baked by us ahead of time to allow cakes to cool. Just like the show\, each contestant may press the buzzer for 3 minutes of assistance.  Everyone will take home a cake but only one person will wear the golden chef hat!  Come join the fun! \nOur instructor will teach kids how to level a cake\, crumb coat\, use an offset spatula and scraper and piping bag to create a professional looking cake. \n  \nAbout the instructor \nMelissa is an award winning cookie and cake decorator with many of her works published in magazines. DESCRIPTION:Join us to make turkey cupcakes that are so cute\, you’ll want to gobble them up!  Learn essential baking skills to make light and fluffy chocolate cupcakes with decorations like candy corn for feathers\, googly eyes and a fondant wattle to make the most adorable turkey cupcakes. Each parent/caregiver will work with their child to make their cupcakes. While cupcakes are in the oven\, we’ll decorate a Thanksgiving place mat and bakery box. Class size limited. \n  \n\nDate: Friday\, November 20th \nTime: 9:30-11:00 AM \nCost: $50 per pair (includes child AND adult). You may add an additional child working in the same group and recipe for an additional $10. Additional frosting and decorations will be provided.
