SUMMARY:Kids Cooking  I After School Tuesday Series I Ages 9-15
DESCRIPTION:Learn the art of cooking as we prepare fall-inspired dishes! In this after-school series\, kids will build real kitchen skills and safely use knives to slice and dice ingredients for some healthy fall dishes. From sauces to sauteeing\, this class is a perfect mix of learning and creativity. No experience needed — just an appetite for learning and fun. Kids will bring home their creations to enjoy.  If time allows\, we may also do some baking activities.  We are unable to offer make-up classes for missed sessions.  \n\n  \nPLEASE NOTE: We are currently forming a group to run this class and need a minimum of 6 participants. If you are interested in registering\, please EMAIL us at info@mixitupkitchen.com. Once we receive a minimum of 6 participants\, we will send you a link to register and submit payment. Please let us know before you register and we are happy to review ingredient labels ahead of time. \nCLASS CANCELLATION POLICY: Due to limited enrollment\, classes are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your class for any reason\, we can provide you with a credit for a future class with at least 7 days notice from the date of the class. Class credits expire 6 months from the date of the scheduled class. Within the 7 days\, we can only provide a credit if we can fill your spot or you are always welcome to send someone in your child’s place. SUMMARY:Roman Table | Adult Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a hands-on evening of gnocchi making paired with a classic Roman sauce. You’ll create and plate a delicious Italian dish alongside fellow cooking enthusiasts. After the cooking wraps up\, you’ll enjoy your creations for a seated dinner. No experience needed- just an appetite for fun and learning. Recipes will be emailed after class so you can recreate everything at home. \nHands-on with some instructor demonstration. When possible\, participants will plate their own meal. Class is approximately 2 hours (including cooking and eating). Guests 21+ welcome to bring beer or wine. We have barware and an opener.  \nMenu \nInsalata Mista \nRicotta Gnocchi all’Amatriciana \nItalian dessert (prepared ahead) \n\n  \nDate: Saturday\, October 17th \nTime: 6:00-8:00 PM \n\nCost: $110 pp (no additional service or kitchen fees) \n\n\n\n\n\nThings to Know Before Your Class\n\n\nFood Allergies & Dietary RestrictionsPlease notify us of any food allergies or dietary restrictions before registering to see if the class is a good fit. Please do not register before asking since we cannot issue refunds. You can reach us at info@mixitupkitchen.com. \nArrival PolicyGuests may arrive up to 10 minutes before class time. Please arrive promptly as we well start right on time. We may not be able to accommodate guests who arrive more than 20 minutes late\, as the class will already be in progress. \nClass format/attire Our classes are recreational and fun!  Upon arrival\, we ask that you wash your hands\, grab an apron provided for wear during the class and help yourself to a beverage if you brought one. We suggest wearing comfortable shoes since you’ll be cooking for about the first hour. We appreciate long hair tied back. Our classes typically end around 8:00 PM but may run slightly over. \nCancellation PolicyIf you need to cancel\, we’re happy to offer a class credit (valid for 6 months) if you notify us at least 10 days before your scheduled class. Due to the intimate size of our classes\, we are unable to offer credits for cancellations made within 10 days of the class for any reason. However\, you are always welcome to send someone in your place—just let us know in advance. \nClass Cancellations by Mix It Up KitchenWe reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment or instructor illness/emergency. In the rare event this occurs\, we will offer you a full refund or a credit toward a future class\, depending on your original payment method. If a class is canceled due to low enrollment\, you’ll be notified at least 24 hours in advance. \nBYO PolicyOur kitchen is BYO for 21+. Feel free to bring beer or wine to enjoy during the class.
