SUMMARY:Kids Cooking I Farm to Fork 5-Week Monday Series I Ages 9-13
DESCRIPTION:Children will work independently and in small teams to make savory dishes (and some sweet!) from scratch.  We will cover kitchen safety\, basic knife skills\, how to read and follow multi-step recipes\, use kitchen tools safely and be creative with flavoring our dishes.  Classes also develop team work\, time management\, setting up our work stations “mise en place” and tidying up.  At the end of class\, we will taste our creations and bring some home to share. \n  \nSome of our Farm to Fork menu items include: corn chowder & corn bread\, fall vegetable chicken pot pie\, vegetable risotto\, apple crisp with vanilla ice cream- and more! \nMondays: September 12th\, 19th\, 26th\, October 3rd\, (no class on October 10th)\, October 17th \n4:00-5:30 pm \n$175 for a 5 week series  \n$140 for a 4 week series (Please note\, the cost has been pro-rated for the remainder of classes)  \n  \nThings to know: \nOur children classes are nut-free.  Please inform us of any food allergies prior to registering.  Menu items may change due to availability and student dietary restrictions. Maximum class size is typically 10 children. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment and a full refund will be provided.  Unfortunately\, we cannot provide refunds within 10 days of class start. Please review our cancellation policy on our FAQ page (under the About Us tab).
