SUMMARY:Nailed It! | Heart Cakes | Ages 9-14
DESCRIPTION:Inspired by the popular TV Show Nailed it\, join us for our Valentine’s Day edition of friendly competition and fun!  Each aspiring baker will be challenged to recreate a heart cake masterpiece made by our professional cake decorator.  We’ll start with some cake decorating tips to get started on the right track\, then each contestant will receive a heart-shaped cake (baked by us ahead of time to allow cakes to cool) to design their own look-alike.  Just like the show\, each contestant may press the buzzer for 3 minutes of assistance.  Treats will be served during judging and each child will take home their cake as a “prize.” But only one person will wear the golden chef hat!  Come join the fun! \n  \nPlease note: each child will decorate a 6 inch chocolate heart cake (4 generous servings). \n  \nAbout the instructor \nMelissa is an award winning cookie and cake decorator with many of her works published in magazines. She has over 13 years of experience\, owns an in-house bakery and is a member of the Wilton Hall of Fame.  She loves sharing her passion with children and adults alike.    \n  \n\nDate: Friday\, February 14th \n\nTime: 4:00-5:30 PM \nCost: $50 \n  \n\nThings to know: \nOur children’s classes are nut-free (unless otherwise noted).  We cannot guarantee that ingredients are manufactured in a nut-free facility\, however we are happy to review labels with you. Please inform us of any food allergies prior to registering to determine whether it’s an appropriate class. We reserve the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment and a full refund will be provided. If you need to cancel\, we can provide a credit for a future class if you give us at least 10 days notice in writing prior to class date.  After that time\, we cannot provide a credit\, however you’re welcome to transfer the registration to someone else. Credit for a future class is valid for 6 months from time of class.
