DESCRIPTION:Do you ever marvel at those beautiful french macarons found in fancy bakeries? These delicious Parisian sandwich cookies are remarkably simple once you learn the science and technique behind them.  In this hands-on workshop\, you’ll learn how to make meringue batter with techniques such as ribboning\, piping\, resting and baking. We’ll make 3 delicious fillings: salted caramel buttercream\, chocolate ganache and strawberries and cream. \nPlease note: this class is not appropriate for people with tree nut and peanut allergies.  This class is for children ages 11+. Class size limited. \n  \nDate: Sunday\, January 23rd \nTime: 3:00-5:00 PM \nCost: $70 \n  \n\n\n\n\nThings to know: \nIf you have trouble registering or resetting a password\, please contact us at info@mixitupkitchen.com or at 617-794-5191.  \nCOVID-19 UPDATE: We will be following CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of our students. All classes will require the use of face coverings and strict sanitation and cleanliness protocols.  \nFOOD ALLERGIES: Please contact us prior to registering if you have a food allergy. This class specifically uses tree nuts and possibly ingredients made in a facility with peanuts. Please let us know before you register and we are happy to review ingredient labels ahead of time. \nCLASS CANCELLATION POLICY: Classes are non-refundable\, however\, we understand that plans change. If your child is unable to attend a class\, we will provide you with a credit to be used for another session (kitchen credits expire within 6 months). You must notify us at least 7 days before the class start date. Rescheduling requests must be emailed to us at info@mixitupkitchen.com or by calling us at 617-794-5191.  Any requests made within the 7 day window can only be honored if we can fill your child’s spot. Due to our limited class size we appreciate your understanding.
