Mixing, mashing, kneading and eating! The earlier kids learn to cook, the sooner they’ll learn an essential life skill. Cooking also inspires curiosity and helps with many early academic skills like counting, colors, shapes and following directions. Recipes are designed specifically for this age group.
During each class we will cook up something yummy and healthy to eat! We will focus on building a healthy lunch box while incorporating early academic skills. This class is designed as a drop off program, but parents are welcome to stay and observe.
Join us for an after school culinary adventure! Our classes are typically structured in three-week sessions with a featured theme. Recipes build on important skills like math, reading comprehension, working as a team and independently.
Our individual workshops feature a variety of classes throughout the month for different age groups: tots, kids and families.
In our hands-on, fun classes teens will learn kitchen safety, basic cooking skills and nutrition. Each week teens will make strides toward being self-sufficient in the kitchen while creating culinary dishes to share and enjoy.
